Life for Doherty Medals and Trophies started over 30 years ago in Danny Doherty's garage in Coventry . Danny was already well on the way to becoming a world champion Irish dance teacher and saw an opportunity to put his entrepreneurial spirit and dancing knowledge to good use.

The first customer through the door was the late Betty Kelly from Manchester , one of the best dance teachers of her time. After ordering 500 medals for her regional feis she became the first of many loyal customers.

Quickly the word spread and within months the firm was sending medals and trophies all over the country. Since then Danny and his team haven't looked back. Their client list spreads across the continents with orders coming in from Australia , Canada , Singapore , Germany , Holland as well as the UK and Ireland .

Despite the wide breadth of customers the Doherty ethos is all about the personal touch. To this day Danny makes sure his door is always open and the kettle is always on. Every customer is treated with a friendly and reliable service and are always offered the highest quality at the lowest possible cost.
